Tom Holland finds new adventure in the live-action adaptation of Uncharted! Holland's version of the character, Nathan Drake, is younger than we've seen in the video games, while Mark Wahlberg costars as Victor “Sully” Sullivan, Nathan's mentor. (In theaters now!)

Uncharted has been years and years in the making with multiple directors bowing in and out. The movie has been in production for about twelve years, but it finally reached the finish line with Venom's Ruben Fleischer directing.

Long-Awaited Adaptation

Uncharted follows Nathan, who, in the games, believes he's a descendant of English explorer Sir Francis Drake. He's a street smart tomb raider brought under Sully’s wing as they search for a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago.

Adventure Awaits

Nolan North, who voices Nathan in the games, got to meet Holland during production. About the moment, he tweeted, "Like looking into a mirror! Proud to have @TomHolland1996 continuing the Drake legacy! Absolutely smashing it!"

Passing the Torch

COLUMBIA PICTURES

The film includes iconic elements from the games, like Nathan climbing up cargo crates to get back onto a plane, the sequence on the pirate ship, and of course, Sully's mustache — which Nathan can't help but make fun of.
