Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey are back for even more Sonic fun! This time around Dr. Robotnik (Carrey) returns with a new partner, Knuckles (Idris Elba), to help on his quest to destroy Sonic and gain as much power as he can.

Sonic may just be a kid, but he’s still on a mission to save the world from evil. After the first film, Sonic has finally come into his own and is mastering his powers, making him an even tougher match for Dr. Robotnik.
We got to see Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey) enter the real world at the end of Sonic the Hedgehog, but this time around, Tails is integral to the plot. Fans will also get to see Knuckles go head-to-head with Sonic.
