Sebastian Stan plays Steve in Fresh, from director Mimi Cave. He "dickmatizes" a woman named Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones) after a meet-cute at a grocery store. Then, in the tradition of sexy psychos, this alluring gentleman reveals his unusual appetites and s— hits the fan.
Ladies, stay away from Sebastian Stan. The Pam & Tommy star dials up the horror factor in Fresh for the most buzzed-about creep show to come out of this year's Sundance Film Festival.
According to critics, people aren't ready for what's in store. Fresh is "a clever, gory metaphor for the seemingly endless horrors of modern romance rooted in a plot twist just outrageous enough to plausibly be true."
Edgar-Jones is no stranger to fictional complicated relationships (see Normal People), but this coupling seems to take complicated relationships to a whole new level. Warning: Fresh is not for those with sensitive stomachs.
