Accio, Harry Potter cast! The stars of the magical franchise reunite for an HBO Max special.
Daniel Radcliffe says the teen actors were at “peak hormone” during Goblet of Fire: "You had a bunch of hormonal teenagers anyway, and then bring in two massive groups of new people, all of them purposefully hot for the film."
After that fourth movie, Emma Watson — who plays Hermione Granger — considered leaving the franchise. She said, "I did find a diary entry that was kind of like… I could see that at times I was lonely."
Tom Felton teared up while remembering his on-screen mother, Helen McCrory, who died in April 2021. "She had this ability, yeah, just to sort of show such empathy in her eyes,” he recalled. “It was a real treat to work with her."
Radcliffe revealed that he had a crush on Helena Bonham Carter and wrote her a letter! "I do love you and I just wish I'd been born 10 years earlier,” it included. “I might've been in with a chance.”
Watson called Ron and Hermione’s kiss in Deathly Hallows Part 2 "the most horrifying thing anyone one of us had to go through." It was made worse by Radcliffe teasing them relentlessly during the lead-up to filming it.
