Daniel Radcliffe ‘dramatically bored’ by opinions on Oscars slap

Don’t expect to hear what the Harry Potter alum thinks of Will Smith vs. Chris Rock.

While promoting his new film The Lost City, actor Daniel Radcliffe got asked to weigh in on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

“I’m just so already dramatically bored of hearing people’s opinions about it that I just don’t want to be another opinion adding to it,” Radcliffe told Good Morning Britain’s hosts.

But he did recall having to sit through uncomfortable jokes during award ceremonies as a kid.

You’re never quite sure if the joke’s with you, or you’re the butt of the joke, so you sort of have a mode of being like, ‘I’ll just keep smiling and laughing, and hopefully this’ll end soon.’

When it comes to his The Lost City costar Channing Tatum, however, Radcliffe has plenty to say: “He’s the world’s nicest man.”

Tatum even aided Radcliffe during a difficult stunt scene where Radcliffe’s character is on a boat in choppy waters.

“You don’t see it on camera, but Channing was on that boat also, sort of doing stunt safety for me,” Radcliffe reveals.
