In the 30+ years since its release, Top Gun has been cemented as a classic. So, of course, Top Gun: Maverick looked to the original when it came to creating a worthy sequel.
Goose lost his life in the original film, but his legacy lives on in the sequel through his son Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, played by Miles Teller.
If you've seen the original Top Gun, you know the beach volleyball scene. The new recruit in Maverick change it up a bit with a beach football scene.
