FRIDAY

RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 5

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: 8 p.m. on VH1

Season Finale

Are Jujubee, Miz Cracker, and Shea Couleé the best top 3 ever on any season of RuPaul's Drag Race? Arguably so. Would it be a crime if Mama Ru proclaimed a three-way tie? Not really. Will it happen? No way. In fact, the chances are highly unlikely there would even be a two-way tie since that happened on All-Stars 4, when Monét X Change and Trinity The Tuck were crowned co-winners. In this latest season full of twists — like the introduction of a lip-sync assassin each week and, eventually, as the number of Queens still standing dwindled, Ru deciding that everyone besides the weekly maxi challenge winner was eligible for elimination rather than there being just a bottom two — there appears to be at least one more trick up RuPaul's sequined-gown sleeve. Prepare for wigs to be snatched (and perhaps finally some lip-sync wig reveals), walks to be sissied, and the three finalists to slay as they hope to be the last Queen standing and take home the $100,000 grand prize. —Gerrad Hall

Surviving Joe Exotic

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: 10 p.m. on Animal Planet

If you think you know all about Joe Exotic and all his drama, there’s more of his story to unravel. No, there won’t be anything about Carole Baskin, but the horrible crimes against his animals are just as shocking. Money appears to be the only thing he cared about and he was willing to do anything for it, including mass breeding and interbreeding wild cats, keeping them in tiny cages, and little to no veterinary care. He also had a not-so-brilliant idea about how he’d repopulate the world with saber-toothed tigers. He's already in prison after being convicted on murder-for-hire charges, as well as killing five tigers and selling others across state lines — but this might just make you think he deserves more than his 22-year-sentence. —Rosy Cordero
