The Mindy Project: Six Seasons of Style Curated by Costume Designer Salvador Perez

We really can’t decide what’s more iconic – the list of Mindy Lahiri’s numerous suitors or her always-on-point fashion. Since it’d be pretty hard to round up all of Hollywood’s most eligible guest stars, it’s fitting that the Paley Center for Media has opted to feature an exhibit of the latter in honor of the upcoming final season of Hulu’s The Mindy Project. From a closet full of envy-inducing coats to a 1970s inspired women's suit to a mind-blowing sari, fans can enjoy an inside glimpse of Mindy’s closet at the Paley Center’s Beverly Hills location now through Oct. 1. In addition to costumes, the exhibit also features episodic photography, costume sketches, and behind-the-scenes video segments. Click through the gallery for a glimpse at some of the costumes on display.

Six Seasons of Style

From the beginning, fashion has been as integral a part of The Mindy Project as Nora Ephron references and Mindy’s questionable life choices. Salvador Perez, who is both the show’s costume designer and Mindy Kaling’s stylist, has created a bright, colorful, fashion-forward world with a blend of designer items and custom pieces designed explicitly for Mindy (something he has done increasingly over the show’s six seasons). "Salvador Perez is an incredible artist who matched Mindy Lahiri's larger-than-life personality with couture beyond any woman's dreams. You may not approve of everything Mindy says, but you always approve of her fashion," said Mindy Kaling.
