Go inside the Upside Down with EW's Stranger Things special collector's edition
- TV Show
In a few weeks' time, the fourth season of Stranger Things will come to what is sure to be an epic conclusion with two jam-packed, extended episodes. Ahead of that (and in preparation for the fifth and final season), EW is heading inside the Upside Down and reliving all that '80s fun in Entertainment Weekly's Ultimate Guide to Stranger Things, available to purchase now.
The special collector's edition features behind-the-scenes photos and exclusive interviews with the show's kids — Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke — as well as interviews with Matthew Modine, David Harbour, and Winona Ryder. The show's creators, brother duo Matt and Ross Duffer, also open up about their creative process, their shared inspirations, whether they'll ever go solo, and of course, what to expect from season 4, part 2 (and beyond).
The Ultimate Guide to Stranger Things also gives fans a deep dive into the making of the show, from an extensive monster manual where the creators and crew reveal the inspirations and handiwork that went into the show's many demo-beasts, to an interview with production designer Chris Trujillo, who takes EW on a trip through some of Hawkins' most memorable locales. It also features an in memoriam (#JusticeForBarb!), a complete history of the epic moments on the show so far, and a breakdown of all the homages and references to bygone pop culture that the writers snuck into Stranger Things over the years.
To read about all of this and more, pick up The Ultimate Guide to Stranger Things, available online or wherever magazines are sold.
