After months of heart issues (literal and metaphorical), reappearing exes, abductions and threesomes, the second season of Roswell, New Mexico comes to a close with a bang on Monday — no, really, there’s fireworks and a bomb.

The last hour of the CW drama has a lot of questions to answer. Will Rosa (Amber Midthunder)'s CPR save Max (Nathan Dean Parsons)? Can Liz (Jeanine Mason) defuse the alien bomb/spaceship console and in doing so save all the alien fanatics at CrashCon from the deadly blast? Will Maria (Heather Hemmens) survive the activated atomizer that's about to kill all the aliens (or part-aliens) in the vicinity after she heroically tried to discard of it alone?

Well, we can answer one of those questions for now. In an exclusive clip for Monday's season finale, Michael (Michael Vlamis) is visiting a very-much-alive Maria in the hospital, who's feeling better thanks to Liz's "witch serum." She also has a mysterious box Mimi left at her bedside that she wants Michael to use his powers to open since it's keyless, but Michael's not in a rush to help to entangle his girlfriend further in Mimi's plans, considering her last one nearly got Maria killed.

What's in the box? Get the answer to that and a whole bunch of other questions when the season 2 finale airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
