With 107 episodes behind her, Mindy Kaling is surprised by how nostalgic she's already feeling about the 10-episode final season of The Mindy Project that she's just begun filming. Speaking of getting emotional, the first two episodes address that worried look Mindy had right after marrying Ben (Bryan Greenberg) the last time we saw the couple trundling off on the subway. "We unpack that look and how that has metastasized over the course of 10 months," she teases.

So will fans see a different side of Mindy as the series comes to an end? "Not only does Mindy evolve, she becomes the person we always hoped she would become, but she's still really fun and opinionated," says Kaling, who is keeping a tight lid on how her recently revealed pregnancy might impact her character's story line. "We want to end the show with you feeling like this was really a journey."
