A Lot Like Love
One of Meghan Markle’s earliest roles was in the Ashton Kutcher romantic comedy A Lot Like Love. She was credited simply as “Hot Girl.”
Markle appeared on CSI: NY in 2006 (seemingly a prerequisite for all actors at some point).
Deal or No Deal
From 2006 to 2007, Markle was a briefcase model on Deal or No Deal.
Markle was “Wendy” in the 2008 pilot of 90210, which was memorable — especially for those looking for any type of scandal to attach to the future royal — for a scene in which her character performed oral sex in a car.
In 2009, Markle appeared as junior FBI agent Amy Jessup in two episodes of Fringe on Fox.
As a divorced woman named Meghan, Markle played close to type in one episode of The League.
Markle also played a girl named Megan (this time without the “H”) in the 2010 Robert Pattinson drama with an eyebrow-raising 9/11 twist.
Horrible Bosses, which starred Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudekis, featured Markle in a quick spot as a pretty FedEx delivery woman.
When Sparks Fly
In 2014, Markle starred in a Hallmark original movie called When Sparks Fly about a journalist who falls in love in a small town over the Fourth of July.
Markle played a would-be corpse who turned out to be the killer in a Disney princess-themed episode of Castle in 2012.
In 2015, Markle played the love interest in British crime drama Anti-Social opposite Runaways star Gregg Sulkin.
Markle finally rose to mainstream fame thanks to her role as Rachel Zane on the USA drama Suits, which began in 2011.
