Let's just say Legacies was feeling epic when it came up with this one.

On Feb. 4, Legacies fans will be treated to the series' second musical episode, and this one is titled "Salvatore: The Musical!" The hour is all about the CW series' own legacy as the students prepare to put on a musical about the founding of the Salvatore School, a.k.a. a story Vampire Diaries (and Originals) fans know well.

"We had done a musical episode in season 1, so that was sort of the test run and we just loved that episode," showrunner Brett Matthews tells EW. "[Executive producer] Julie [Plec] and I have always been looking for a way to talk about The Vampire Diaries, which is difficult in absentia in some of the actors." But once Salvatore: The Musical was floated as an idea, as Matthews puts it, "Immediately we knew we were doing it."

EW has an exclusive first look at the play within an episode, which stars Josie as Elena Gilbert, Jed as Stefan Salvatore, Kaleb as Damon Salvatore, Lizzie as Caroline Forbes, and so much more. (Landon's busy writing the thing, and Hope's not exactly interested in being part of it.)

Please enjoy Josie's perfect costume, Jed's wig, and more below.
