Julia Roberts will be returning to a television near you.

The Academy Award-winning actress is set to star in and executive-produce the Apple TV+ limited series The Last Thing He Told Me, based on the upcoming novel by Laura Dave. Reese Witherspoon will produce via her Hello Sunshine banner, which optioned the book.

Dave is credited as the series' co-creator, alongside Spotlight writer Josh Singer, and she'll also adapt the drama, about a woman who forms an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared.

Witherspoon heralded the collaboration with Roberts as a dream come true on social media.

"I'm working with #JuliaRoberts… and all my childhood dreams are now fulfilled!" she tweeted Thursday. "Thank you to #LauraDave for her brilliant book (I can't wait for everyone to read it!) and thank you to @AppleTV for making this happen!"

Roberts previously starred in the debut season of Amazon's Homecoming, based on the podcast of the same name about a young military veteran (Stephan James) and his social worker (Roberts) at a secret government facility that purportedly aids soldiers transition into civilian life.

Apple TV+ has not announced production plans or or a release date for The Last Thing He Told Me. Dave's book will hit shelves May 4.
