"Oh, she's FABulous," Harry told host Hoda Kotb about the role she'll play on the long-running NBC soap. "You know I'm playing a fabulous woman, you know that. But I don't want to give away the storyline because it's a brand new storyline [featuring] African Americans. They have been at the forefront of hiring minorities, they have a lot of diversity on Days of Our Lives. I don't want to give away the storyline but I have a daughter and you know there ain't nothing but trouble in River City."

While Harry played coy about her role, NBC has confirmed the actress will be playing a new character named Paulina, who comes to Salem to reconnect with her family. New to town, the successful and outspoken Paulina will be connected to the Carvers. She will begin filming her Days role this month for episodes set to air in March.

Harry is also starring in the OWN holiday film A Christmas for Mary, which debuts tonight at 9 p.m. The movie revolves around a journalist (Morgan Dixon) who goes on a journey through time to learn more about her father. Harry plays Mary's mom. Vivica A. Fox also stars as Mary's magazine editor boss.
