Soleil Moon Frye will bring back Punky Power for a whole new generation in Peacock's Punky Brewster revival in 2021 and fans won't have long to wait.

If you've ever wondered what happened to Punky, a spunky foster kid who finds the perfect home with her adoptive dad Henry (George Gaynes) serendipitously, this is the show for you. The 10-episode first season is a continuation of the original 80s comedy, which picks up in the present day as Punky navigates the world as an adult.

Here's what we know about the series so far.

When does the show premiere and where can I watch?

Peacock just announced Punky Brewster will be available to stream in its entirety on Feb. 25. The NBCUniversal streaming service has different membership tiers including a free option with limited commercial breaks.

What is the new show about?

Punky is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self.

Who else will appear on the series?

As far as original cast members reprising their roles alongside Moon Frye, fans can expect to see Cherie Johnson return as Punky's BFF in the new series. No word yet if a certain refrigerator will appear but keep your eyes peeled.

New cast members include Freddie Prince Jr., in the role of Punky's ex-husband Travis, who shares in the co-parenting duties of their children Diego (Noah Cottrell), Daniel (Oliver De Los Santos), and Hannah (Lauren Lindsey Donzis). Quinn Copeland will portray Izzy, the foster kid that enters Punky's life reminding her of her early years.

But will we see Punky's dog Brandon?

It's been more than two decades since Punky Brewster went off the air and as much as we'd like to believe the dog that played Brandon could still be alive, they've probably gone to doggy heaven by now. The family does have another golden retriever at home in the new series, though his lineage is as yet unknown. In the series finale, Brandon marries a doggo named Brenda. Essentially, this new blonde pooch could be related to Brandon.

Can I watch the original anywhere?

Yes! Peacock has all the original episodes of Punky Brewster available to stream right now.
