Why do we feel like we've seen this film before?

It seems the events of Rivervale might be coming true in Riverdale... well, one of them, at least. And thankfully, it's one of the happier ones.

EW has an exclusive sneak peek from the next episode of Riverdale, which sees the town hit with a massive fog that forces the townsfolk to enjoy a nice night in. For Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Archie (KJ Apa), that means they get to enjoy some alone time. And it also means they get to talk.

After the two sleep together, Betty asks Archie, "What are we doing, Arch? Are we dating?" In other words, it's time for the exclusivity talk, and Archie passes with flying colors! He tells Betty that he isn't seeing anybody else and that he loves when they're together because "it just feels right." And that's precisely the answer Betty was hoping for, because she has something else to tell him: Her period is two weeks late.

She goes on to tell him that she hasn't been on birth control since TBK kept her in a well for two weeks, and there was that one time when they weren't safe. So, could there be a red-headed baby on the way? (And would it have superpowers?!) Crazier things happen literally all the time in Riverdale.
