Arrested Development season 5: Here's which fan-favorite characters are back

The Bluths are back to bumble their way through more adventures in the anticipated (and now somewhat controversial) return of Arrested Development, which drops the first half of its fifth season Tuesday on Netflix. Yes, all of the family members are back in action, but which secondary characters partake in this new batch of foolery? The self-declaring, former high school crush of Maeby is on the line for another appearance.

How can he be part of the new season if he's... right behind you???? Made you look! No, but he really is part of the new season, and after this illusionist's magical, confusing night with Gob (Will Arnett), there's probably lots to figure out. Who knows, maybe it's just friendship?

Lindsay's high-school rival and Tony Wonder's better/worse half stole $100,000 from Lucille 2 (Liza Minnelli), so there may be some payback.

Ron Howard's daughter came between Michael (Jason Bateman) and George-Michael (Michael Cera), leading to a dramatic face-punch between son and father that ended season 4. Rebel will add to the more romantic confusion and family tension in season 5.

The family's ridiculously underqualified lawyer will certainly have the Bluths crying "Objection!" at one point.

The hairless patriarch of the Sitwells and CEO of a rival real estate company is a lock to encounter the Bluths this season.

Let's hope that the warden/screenwriter has learned to use his iPad by now.
