J.K. Simmons and Bruce Dern have joined the cast of Amazon Prime Video's fourth and final season of Goliath, EW can exclusively reveal.

Simmons will portray George Zax, head of a family-owned and operated pharmaceutical company, one of the nation's biggest. Dern will play George's brother Frank, who is described as the scientific genius and ostracized black sheep of the Zax family.

While Amazon couldn't reveal just yet any additional details about these two new roles, it seems logical that Simmons and Dern could portray the new season's antagonists; in previous seasons they were played by Amy Brenneman and Dennis Quaid (season 3), and Ana de la Reguera and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (season 2).

Each season, Billy Bob Thornton's character Billy McBride takes on a big case based on real-life issues plaguing the country, led by a Goliath(s). Season 4 will tackle America's rampant drug problem, with McBride taking on Big Pharma in a case that represents a "timely global crisis impacting an entire generation," according to Amazon.

Returning series stars include Nina Arianda, Tania Raymonde, Diana Hopper, and Julie Brister.

A release date for the show's final season has yet to be announced.
