Things are getting a little heated between host J.J. Watt and Saturday Night Live cast member Kyle Mooney in this week’s promo for the show.

The bit begins with Mooney questioning Watt, who is a defensive end for the NFL’s Houston Texans, about football (“So, football, huh?”) and how many tackles he’s made (480). Mooney attempts to catch Watt by surprise by throwing a water bottle at the football star, to prove that he’s “a real athlete.” (Spoiler alert: Watt has no problem catching the water bottle.)

Mooney continues to chuck as many random items as he can find at Watt, but the joke is on him when Watt returns the favor by throwing a shoe right into Mooney’s face. Ultimately, the two hug it out and walk off hand-in-hand.

Watt is set to host Saturday Night Live on Feb. 1, with Luke Combs as musical guest. This is Watt’s first time hosting the sketch comedy show, which airs at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
