Burning mementos and scoping out hot firemen may be Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe’s idea of a fun girls’ night on Friends, but the real-life actresses reunited for a much more laid-back evening on Sunday.
“Hi from the girls across the hall,” her caption read.
On the popular sitcom, the women’s characters are best friends and all resided in the same New York City apartment at one point or another. Across the hall lived their other friends Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Chandler (Matthew Perry).
Although Friends ended in 2004, the actors have remained close over the years. Recently, Aniston delighted the internet when she joined Instagram in October and shared a photo of the entire main cast hanging out, including David Schwimmer. The post has since garnered 15 million likes.
Fans were disappointed when Friends left Netflix for good on Dec. 31, but it wasn’t all bad news. There’s reportedly a reunion special in the works at HBO Max, and the series will return to streaming on the same platform in May.
