Apple is bringing the tales of immigrants to the screen.

On Thursday, AppleTV+ released the first trailer for its new heartwarming series Little America. Inspired by true stories featured in Epic Magazine, the 8-episode series goes beyond the headlines to bring the funny, warm and romantic tales of eight different immigrants to the United States to life. As seen in the trailer, the newcomers soon discover the wonders of American life including, baseball, bacon chili cheeseburgers and adding tax after you see the ticket price.

Premiering in January 2020, Little America is written and executive produced by Lee Eisenberg (The OfficeGood Boys), who also serves as showrunner, and executive produced by (newly buff) Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Silicon Valley), his wife and co-writer Emily V. Gordon (The Big Sick) among other. Zachary Quinto (Star Trek franchise),  Haaz Sleiman (Jack Ryan, The Visitor), Mélanie Laurent (Inglorious Bastards), Shaun Toub (The Path to 9/11, Little King), Conphidance (Klipper, I am My Own Mother), and Sherlilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks) all star in the series.

Little America premieres on Jan. 17 2020 on AppleTV+. Watch the trailer above.
