It’s been a hard morning for fans of HBO’s Veep, which was inexplicably snubbed by the Golden Globes in the Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy category. (Congrats, I guess, to Ryan Murphy‘s PR team for somehow landing a nomination for The Politician.) But on this week’s episode of EW’s Best of Shows podcast, Darren Franich and I count down the best comedies of the entire decade — and Veep (of course) makes my list. Two different HBO comedies land on Darren’s list (spoiler: One is Issa Rae‘s ode to millennial confusion, Insecure), while we each have a broadcast network sitcom on our list. (Spoiler: mine features a running joke about the “title of your sex tape.”)
