This is … The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

On Monday, This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown went on Twitter to share some very exciting news: He’s getting ready to leave Southern California behind as he heads east to “do a TV show.” That TV show is none other than Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The award-winning comedy follows Rachel Brosnahan’s Midge Maisel as she transitions from 1950’s housewife to stand-up comic, and by the end of season 2, her career is getting ready to take off as she agrees to go on tour.

Brown, who has voiced his love for the show before, says, “The Palladinos were kind enough to write a little something for your boy, and I said yes … I’m getting together with Midge and it’s going to be awesome.” (The Palladinos, of course, are none other than creators Dan Palladino and Amy Sherman-Palladino.)

There’s no word yet on who Brown will play in the upcoming third season of the comedy, but you can watch his full announcement video below.
