This is a rough time of year for Bachelor Nation. The Bachelor is over, and we’ve got exactly 46 days until the new season of The Bachelorette premieres on May 13 (not that I’m counting). So what are we to do, rose lovers?

Fortunately, the streaming service Tubi is coming to our rescue. Starting April 1, fans can watch the first season of The Bachelor (2002) and The Bachelorette (2003) — as well as season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise — for free. Just to remind you why this throwback content is oh-so-necessary, take a look at this exclusive clip of the very first Bachelorette Fantasy Suite date (above), in which Trista Rehn invites her future husband, Ryan Sutter, to forgo his individual room and spend the night as a couple with her. (“Let’s go!” he yelps eagerly.)

Now that the Bachelor franchise is a worldwide phenomenon, it’s easy to forget how delightfully low-rent the whole enterprise was 16 years ago. For one thing, this overnight date is taking place in the exotic city of… Seattle? Plus, the Fantasy Suite itself is a far cry from the extravagant, multiroom luxury digs today’s Bachelors and Bachelorettes enjoy — it’s basically a Residence Inn, but with more rose petals. That said, it’s at least better than what poor Trista had to endure during her Fantasy Suite date on The Bachelor. Did they get a deal at the local Ramada?

Also coming to Tubi on April 1: Trista and Ryan’s wedding special. Get your colored sand ready!
