Friends‘ decade-long run was chock-full of memorable moments, from the fourth-season wedding cliffhanger to Monica’s turkey dance. But one of the most memorable came near the very end of the show: Danny DeVito‘s season 10 appearance as “Officer Goodbody” at Phoebe’s (Lisa Kudrow) bachelorette party. Though according to DeVito, he wanted the scene to be even more…memorable.

“I didn’t go down as far as I would like to have gone, but that’s okay,” DeVito says in the latest episode of PeopleTV’s Couch Surfing, while viewing the Friends scene with host Lola Ogunnaike.

“You would have taken more pieces of clothing off?” Ogunnaike inquires. “Look at me, I’m fully clothed!” says DeVito. (The actor would later appear in quite the opposite state on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.)

DeVito, who can currently be seen in Tim Burton’s Dumbo, also reveals that his then-neighbor Jennifer Aniston asked him to appear on the show.

“How could you pass up a chance to strip for the lovely ladies on Friends?” DeVito quips. “Wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
