It left a mark. A big one. Now it’s time to see how it’s healing. Or how Eve and Villanelle are reeling.

In one of TV’s biggest WTF moments of 2018, Eve (Sandra Oh) stabbed Villanelle (Jodie Comer) at the end of season 1 of the BBC America spy thriller Killing Eve, turning the relationship between this secret agent and international assassin up a notch in intensity — and craziness. Debuting April 7, season 2 picks up right where the action left off, with a wounded Villanelle on the run, eager for revenge or reconnection, while Eve tries to process what the hell just happened.

The final trailer for season 2 was released Wednesday, and it will show you Villanelle laid up in the hospital, disguising herself as a doctor to self-medicate, only to have to endure the ultimate pain of putting on unfashionable shoes. Meanwhile, Eve confesses to Kenny (Sean Delaney), son of MI6 boss Caroline (Fiona Shaw), that she stabbed Villanelle… but before she can tell him more, that other person who just entered the room is going to need to leave.

Check out the trailer above to see where this mutual obsession goes next — and to renew your own obsession with Eve.
