Supernatural still has a few episodes left to air in its 14th season, but when it comes to star Jared Padalecki, hiatus has officially begun.

Padalecki shared the news on Twitter that he filmed his final scene of season 14 on Tuesday (and his daughter Odette was even on set to help him with his makeup). The tweet comes on the heels of Padalecki, joined by his co-stars Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins, announcing that Supernatural‘s 15th season will be its last. “We just told the crew that though we’re very, very excited about moving into our 15th season, it will be our last,” Ackles said in the heartfelt video message. “We wanted you to hear from us that though we’re excited about next year, it will be the finale, the big grand finale of an institution.”

In other words, this marks the last season wrap on Sam Winchester, because the next one will be a series wrap. “As I enter my final hiatus, I feel incredible gratitude for my #SPNFamily,” Padalecki wrote on Tuesday.

Ackles and Collins shared similar messages on social media (though without the amazing makeup artist). See all three posts below.

Supernatural airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
