HBO has unveiled the official marketing art for the final season of Game of Thrones.
Below is the season 8 poster which will soon be gracing outdoor advertising, print ads and, eventually, the DVD box cover: A dragon melding with the Iron Throne (look close at the bottom).
The image is an echo of the show’s first season Iron Throne ad, which is appropriate as the final season contains many callbacks to the show’s debut episodes. The ad highlights Daenerys Targaryen’s ambition to conquer King’s Landing.
