Cicada II reveals why she traveled back in time in The Flash sneak peek
Last week on The Flash, Team Flash went through the trouble of convincing Cicada (Chris Klein) to take the metahuman cure, which removed his powers. Unfortunately, the two dagger-wielding Cicada II, a.k.a. Adult Grace, has arrived from the future to ruin all of that hard work.
In the above exclusive clip from Tuesday's episode, titled "Time Bomb," a dazed and powerless Orlin wakes up in a cabin to find his very creepy niece Grace (Smallville's Sarah Carter) standing by his bedside. After revealing who she is, Grace explains exactly why she, like the Flash's daughter Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy), decided to travel back in time to the year of our lord 2019.
"I came back to work with you again, and I remember everything you taught me, Uncle Orlin," says Grace, as she suits back up before heading out to take care of some secretive business. "When I get back, we're gonna figure out how you get your powers back."
Orlin wasn't particularly moved when Barry (Grant Gustin) implored him to think about the legacy he was leaving for the then-comatose Grace in last week's episode. (Remember, he only agreed to take the cure after he found out she was metahuman) So, it'll be interesting to learn how he feels about Grace following in his murderous footsteps.
Here's the official logline for tonight's episode: "Team Flash finds out that a suburban mom named Vickie Bolen (guest star Catherine Lough Haggquist) is in danger and they race to save her. Upon meeting her, they discover she's a meta-human who is hiding her abilities from her family. Barry (Grant Gustin) encourages Vickie to share her secret with her family, which makes Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) realize she needs to come clean with her parents about Thawne (Tom Cavanagh)."

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
After the success of Arrow, Barry Allen (a.k.a. the Flash) gets his own CW treatment in this comic-themed spin-off.
