Watch Brie Larson test Samuel L. Jackson on Infinity Stone names in Carpool Karaoke exclusive
It can be hard to keep track of all the moving pieces in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at this point. With all the characters, planets, alien races, and all-powerful devices in the mix, you'd be forgiven for, say, not being able to remember all the Infinity Stones. Especially now that we know Nick Fury himself can't remember them either.
In an exclusive clip from this week's episode of Apple's Carpool Karaoke: The Series, Brie Larson grills her Captain Marvel costar Samuel L. Jackson, challenging him to name all six Infinity Stones. Though he's appearing in his ninth MCU movie, it proves to be a challenging task. Jackson starts by rattling off what sounds like a list of the seven deadly sins before throwing in "Hunger" and "Thrift."
"I don't even know what the Thrift Stone means," Larson laughs. "That's the stone that helps you save money!" Jackson fires back.
The trailer for the episode teases more hijinks between the stars. In addition to performances of "7 Rings" and Britney Spears' "My Prerogative," Larson and Jackson ask each other questions while hooked up to a lie detector, with some awkward queries like "Do you think I have a strong singing voice?" and "Have you ever farted while filming a scene?" (Spoiler alert: the answer's yes.)
