The Power Rangers are going beast mode.

After the original cast recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the premiere season, the hit kids’ program is set to return March 2 for its 26th season, Power Rangers Beast Morphers — and EW has an exclusive look at the series.

Featuring an all-new cast of heroes and villains, Beast Morphers will expand the Power Rangers universe with tactical leather suits, Beast Bot sidekicks, and elevated battle footage. The three main Beast Morphers cast members were unveiled at Power Morphicon last August: Rorrie Travis (Red Ranger), Jacqueline Scislowski (Yellow Ranger), and Jasmeet Baduwalia (Blue Ranger).

The description of the first episode, titled “Beasts Unleashed”, explains this generation of Rangers’ origin story: Scientists tap into the Morphin Grid, but an evil virus corrupts the technology and a new team of Power Rangers is formed to defend the Grid from evil.

This is the first season of Power Rangers to debut since Hasbro’s acquisition of the franchise in May.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers will debut March 2 on Nickelodeon.
