Lifetime has anointed two rising stars to headline the forthcoming TV movie centering on the marriage of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Tiffany Marie Smith (Supernatural) and Charlie Field (Genius) will portray the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal.

A follow-up to 2018’s hit Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance (which starred Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser), the small screen dramatization will focus on the pair’s first year of marriage and the challenges they face.

Filming is set to begin later this month in Vancouver while the film will premiere this spring. Menhaj Huda has been slated to direct from a script penned by Scarlett Lacey.
