Survivor: Edge of Extinction cast auditions for Jeff Probst's job

Jeff Probst has been hosting Survivor for 38 seasons. And, God willing, he will be hosting for 38 more. But what if he doesn’t? What if the Hostmaster General steps down at some point and a replacement needs to be found?

We gave the contestants of Survivor: Edge of Extinction (premiering Feb. 20 on CBS) a chance to audition for the job that does not yet (and may never) exist by showing off their best Jeff Probst impressions. How did they do? Well, let’s just say CBS may have to widen the search a bit should Probst ever hang up the trademark orange baseball cap. After all, it’s not just anyone that can look at their feet and order people to “Come on in, guys!” It takes panache, years of practice, and a certain je ne sais quoi.
