Queer Eye reveals season 3 premiere date — and a new Carly Rae Jepsen song
- TV Show
Clear your calendars, because we finally know when the third season of Queer Eye will debut.
Netflix announced Wednesday on Instagram that season 3 of its Emmy-winning series will debut worldwide March 15. The news came in the form of a video tease styled as a group text among the Fab 5 — Bobby Berk (interior design), Karamo Brown (culture), Tan France (fashion), Antoni Porowski (food and wine), and Jonathan Van Ness (grooming) — set to a preview of Carly Rae Jepsen’s upcoming song “Now That I Found You.”
For the new season, the Fab 5 — who are currently filming four special episodes in Japan — are doing their make-better magic in Kansas City, Mo., after two seasons in Georgia.
It’s not the first time a pop star has teamed up with the popular Netflix series; Betty Who remixed the show’s theme song “All Things,” which was released last May prior to the season 2 debut, complete with a music video starring her and the Fab 5 (and Antoni’s midriff).
Queer Eye won three Emmys in September, including Outstanding Structured Reality Program, 15 years after the original series premiered on Bravo and won the Outstanding Reality Program Emmy for its first season. The Fab 5 were also named among EW’s 2018 Entertainers of the Year.
