The Wonder Years famously ended with its protagonist, Kevin Arnold, reminiscing about his childhood and concluding, “And the thing is, after all these years, I still look back… with wonder.” As it turns out, that same sense of nostalgia is shared by the actors who played Kevin and his friends on the show.

On Tuesday, the show’s three main stars reunited for a cute reunion photo: Fred Savage, who played young Kevin throughout the series (while Daniel Stern provided the narration from Kevin’s adult self); Josh Saviano, who portrayed Kevin’s best friend, Paul Pfeiffer; and Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper, Kevin’s neighbor and love interest.

“I got to see these guys for lunch yesterday – it was so much fun to catch up and hear how their beautiful families are doing!” McKellar wrote in a tweet accompanying the photo. “And yes, @joshsaviano, I totally agree – *you guys* are like family… I mean, we DID grow up together, after all.”

The actors clearly keep in touch, because Savage and Saviano previously reunited at a New York Rangers hockey game in 2016.
