Jimmy Fallon, the late-night talk-show host with (and we say this affectionately) the personality of a human Muppet, joined the Sesame Street Muppets to surprise photobomb a bunch of kids.

Fallon loves using his celebrity guests to pop up around us civilians unexpectedly, but children don’t really care about Hollywood celebrities. Their celebrities tend to be yellow with long, gangly legs standing at about 8 feet tall.

As little tykes posed for photos with their families at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York, the home of The Tonight Show, Fallon appeared behind them with Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert, Count von Count, and more colorful faces from the Sesame Street gang.

Grover wasn’t there, though. He might be in a time out.

Some of the reactions were touching, like the little girl jumping up and down to see Big Bird. Others, not so much.
