Jordana Brewster will play the former love interest of Magnum P.I.

We’re about to meet someone very important from Magnum’s past.

EW has learned exclusively that Jordana Brewster (of the Fast & Furious franchise) will join the cast of CBS’ Magnum P.I. as Hannah, a former CIA analyst who embedded Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and his team in Afghanistan (and bedded the man himself, apparently). Unfortunately for Magnum, it was all an act. Hannah betrayed his trust, which led to his capture and time spent as a P.O.W. Oops!

Brewster’s first episode airs Feb. 15.

Most recently, Brewster starred on Fox’s small screen adaptation of Lethal Weapon. Brewster is also set to reprise her role as Mia Toretto in the next evolution of the Fast & Furious franchise that’s due out in 2020.

CBS recently renewed Magnum P.I., along with FBI and The Neighborhood, for a second season. Magnum P.I., which is a reboot of the old Tom Selleck series, has helped CBS improve its Monday at 9 p.m. slot by 32 percent.
