The final season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will conclude in an epic way.
The CW has announced that the season 4 finale of the musical comedy, set to air on April 5, will be followed by a special concert event.
Yes, It’s Really Us Singing: The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Concert Special! will feature star Rachel Bloom and the cast of the series performing live versions of songs beloved by fans. The set will be accompanied by a band and orchestra as well as multimedia visuals. The event comes on the heels of the sold-out Crazy Ex-Girlfriend live tour.
“The songwriters of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Rachel Bloom, Jack Dolgen and Adam Schlesinger, have written more than 150 outstanding songs in our four seasons. It is an unprecedented contribution to the American songbook,” said co-creator and Showrunner, Aline Brosh McKenna in a statement. “I’m so thrilled we can share those songs with the world in a spontaneous format that really showcases their humor and genius.”
Bloom shared the exciting news on Twitter and let fans know how they can attend the taping, which will take place in Los Angeles in March.
