Netflix's Big Mouth plans a sure-to-be awkward Valentine's Day episode
This Valentine’s Day will surely be awkward as Hell for the Big Mouth gang. As a special lovers treat for the adult animated comedy, Netflix is planning a Valentine’s Day episode to drop ahead of the season 3 premiere.
“My Furry Valentine” will premiere on the streaming platform this Feb. 8, just in time for the holiday. Considering what “furry” things with which the Hormone Monster tends to play, we have concerns about what constitutes a “furry” Valentine.
A new teaser also arrives in anticipation of the anxiety attacks Nick (voiced by Nick Kroll), Andrew (John Mulaney), and Jessi (Jessi Klein) will surely have on screen.
Netflix announced a third season renewal of Big Mouth after another critically successful go bowed in 2018. The new batch of episodes arrive later this year at a yet-to-be-announced date.
The series hails from co-creators Jennifer Flackett, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Kroll, and tracks the awkward puberty years of middle school friends who deal with sex, relationships, and Hormone Monsters. Kroll and Goldberg’s real-life experience with the horror show of pubescence inspired the series.
The voice cast also includes Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, and Jenny Slate.
