With Mondays taken care of, Don Cheadle has now set his sights on Saturdays.
The star of Showtime’s freshman series Black Monday will make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut on the Feb. 16 episode. The Oscar-nominated actor will be joined by musical guest Gary Clark Jr.
Responding to the news Thursday afternoon, Cheadle tweeted “aw sh*t!!!” followed by three fire emojis.
Black Monday, which premiered earlier this month, tells a fictional account of the 1987 Wall Street crash. Cheadle, who plays live-wire broker Maurice Monroe, stars alongside Andrew Rannells, Paul Scheer, and Regina Hall.
The next installment of SNL airs Feb. 9 and will feature Halsey as host and musical guest.
