Turns out Friends will always be there for you!
On Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Courteney Cox stopped by to promote her new Facebook Watch docuseries about pregnancy, 9 Months with Courteney Cox, and had an impromptu reunion with her former Friends costar Lisa Kudrow.
When Cox shared with DeGeneres that she hadn’t yet joined Instagram, but was planning to in order to promote her new show, the comedian and host decided to help her generate some followers with a photoshoot on a fake Central Perk set. While the two cozied up on the couch, called on Gunther for more coffee and faked laughter posing for photos, DeGeneres lamented the fact that Kudrow (who played Phoebe Buffay on the show) couldn’t be there too — and then, just like that, she appeared!
“I wanted to be there for you,” Kudrow told a surprised Cox, quoting the show’s famous theme song’s lyrics. When DeGeneres commented that she wished Kudrow had brought her guitar — or rather her character Phoebe’s guitar — the actress joked, “But who would play it?”
We’re pretty sure that Instagram pic will get a whole lot of likes. Watch the cute clip above.
