Step aside, Miranda Priestly. (But not really. Please don’t fire us!)

EW has an exclusive clip from this week’s episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which pays homage to a number of films, including The Devil Wears Prada, which was written by Crazy Ex-Girlfriend co-creator Aline Brosh McKenna. Specifically, the episode references the entrance to end all entrances, the moment when Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep, of course) took her first steps off that elevator and into our lives.

This time around, the office is getting ready for the arrival of Bert Buttenweiser (Michael Hitchcock), who takes off his sunglasses and walks his way into the lobby making demands. But the nods don’t end there. Remember how Priestly wanted the unpublished Harry Potter manuscript so that the twins could find out what happens next? Well, Bert would like the unwritten sixth Girl With the Dragon Tattoo book, despite the fact that the author died.

For more amazing moments, watch the full clip above. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
