Ryan Murphy made waves earlier this year when he signed a ginormous deal with Netflix that’s worth up to $300 million. Murphy had spent much of his career at 20th Century Fox television so it marks a new era for the Pose co-creator.

Murphy already has his first two Netflix series lined up: the Ben Platt/Barbra Streisand/Gwyneth Paltrow comedy The Politician and the Sarah Paulson drama Ratched.

But, now that he’s in a deal where he can basically develop anything, what is Murphy’s dream Netflix show? It turns out he’s interested in what David Letterman is doing for the streaming service.

“I want my own talk show,” says Murphy. “Just me and one of the people that I love.”

It’s unclear if or when The Ryan Murphy Show will come together but the writer/producer does have his FX series Pose, the subject of this week’s EW cover story, currently airing at 9 p.m. on Sunday nights on FX.
