Celebs suggest new reboots for ABC to replace Roseanne
ABC’s decision to cancel Roseanne after Roseanne Barr’s racist tweet attacking a former President Obama adviser has received a massive response on social media, with many praising the network’s move. But one response that ABC might not have anticipated is the number of creators in Hollywood using this opportunity to suggest potential replacements to fill the hole in the network’s programming schedule.
Bryan Fuller took the opportunity to suggest a reboot of his cult hit Pushing Daisies, and Enlisted creator Kevin Biegel said that he’d be willing to hire Roseanne‘s entire crew if the network would give a second life to his one-season comedy, which originally aired on Fox. Then there’s Charlie Sheen, who apparently wants even more Two and a Half Men.
