Bryan Mills has a very special set of skills.
Unfortunately, earning a third season isn’t one of them.
NBC has canceled action-drama Taken.
The series version of the Liam Neeson film franchise starring Clive Standen was the bubble for a renewal after it premiered last year too.
But studio NBC Universal is shopping the property around in hopes of finding another buyer for a third season. It’s tough to land a second home for canceled dramas as they’re typically more expensive than comedies, but it does happen.
Taken only averaged 4.4 million viewers and a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49 this season.
You could say that not enough viewers were … taken … with it.
Thank you. We’ll show ourselves out.
