As if earning $1.3 billion dollars worldwide — $689 million of that domestically, to surpass Titanic as the third-highest-grossing movie ever — isn’t enough, now Marvel’s Black Panther has racked up its first award nominations.

The movie leads the MTV Movie & TV Awards nominations, announced Thursday, with seven, including Best Movie, Best On-Screen Team, and two for star Chadwick Boseman: Best Performance in a Movie and Best Hero.

The superhero will compete for Best Movie and Best On-Screen Team against the horror hit It, which floated its way to four noms, also including, naturally, Best Villain — Bill Skarsgård’s PennywiseAvengers: Infinity WarWonder Woman, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Girls Trip all got three nominations. Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish, who will host the awards (see her first promo for the show above), got two of those for the popular summer 2017 laugher: Best Comedic Performance and Scene Stealer.

On the TV side, Netflix’s Stranger Things leads the way with six, including Best Show, Best On-Screen Team, and Best Performance in a Show, for Millie Bobby Brown.

Riverdale and Game of Thrones both earned three nominations, while 13 Reasons Why scored two.

Emmy-winning producer and director Joel Gallen — who has held those jobs on more than a dozen Comedy Central Roasts and directed 2001’s Not Another Teen Movie — returns as executive producer of this year’s awards, which will be handed out Monday, June 18, at 9 p.m. ET from Los Angeles’ Barker Hangar.
