Kanye West was apparently the best celebrity guest the show ever had. Kim 'didn't know nothin.''
“The best episode” of Celebrity Family Feud is right around the corner, according to Steve Harvey. The host of the long-running game show gave the goods on the ultimate Kardashian-West clan face-off to Ellen DeGeneres. Apparently, Kanye West was the best celebrity contestant the show has ever seen, while Kim Kardashian-West wasn’t quite.
“Kim didn’t know nothing,” a deadpan Harvey told DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The Kardashians, Harvey continued, are “a little bit different.” Instead of giving motivational “good answer” responses to teammates, “when you don’t give a good answer, they go, ‘What did you say?!'”
Meanwhile, “Kanye was the best celebrity panelist we ever had on the show,” Harvey said. “He loves the show. His people said, ‘Steve, this is the most Kanye has ever smiled since we’ve been working [with him].’ Kanye smiled! When I introduced him, he smiled. When I talked to him on the panel, he smiled. Just tune in and you’ll see Kanye smiling. He’s happy!”
Kardashian posted video to SnapChat in February of their family visit to the Family Feud set, as captured by fans online. They posted some behind-the-scenes peeks at the episode, and Kardashian-West teased, “Kanye said he’s waited his whole life for this moment.”
Harvey mentioned the episode was supposed to be a game between the Kardashian-Jenners and the Hiltons, but the Hiltons bailed. As for what else we can expect, the host noted a competition between Khloé and Kim, appearances from grandma Kardashian and West’s cousins (and Jonathan Cheban, whom Harvey didn’t seem to understand), and enough ratings to make the host an Instagram star.
“It’s the best episode,” Harvey remarked. “We’re gonna get the highest ratings we ever had. All I want them to do is get the all the Instagram followers to follow me. That’s all I want out the deal. And I’ll have 400 million followers and Imma monetize it and quit all these jobs.”
