Note to self: In the case of a zombie apocalypse, don’t mess with Rachel Bloom.
The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star guests on next Monday’s episode of iZombie, and in the exclusive clip from “My Really Fair Lady” above, her theater-based character is angrily defending some of her artistic choices.
“Sir, the contract allows for — and I quote — ‘minor artistically valid changes.’ That’s all this is,” she says firmly to the man on the other end of the phone. “I didn’t even make changes. I made a change. One minor change. Everyone in the show who had the AIDS virus now has the zombie virus. That’s it. And I would like to think an intelligent man would appreciate the metaphor.”
When that isn’t enough, Bloom’s character adds, “Look, bub, you’re in New York; I’m in Seattle. There is a militarized wall and 10,000 zombies between you and my stage. Good luck stopping me.”
We’re guessing Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) won’t be able to stop her — but someone else will. They’ll be investigating Bloom’s character’s murder, and Liv will be dining on her brain (in the form of cinnamon rolls).
iZombie airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
