Drag Race gets shady as Shangela hilariously mimics BeBe's 'bougie' attitude
As the heavenly demeanor of BenDeLaChrist gently wafts out of the Werk Room, the ladies of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3 are getting shadier by the minute.
In EW's exclusive clip from Thursday's episode of the Emmy-winning reality series, Shangela playfully calls out her competitive sister, Cameroon native and season 1 champion BeBe Zahara Benet, for her "bougie" attitude toward the other girls.
"You are a little bougie," Shangela says before channeling Mother Benet's majestic attitude as she serves the following gift of spot-on facial mimicry:
"You would think she is of the royal family of Zamunda, b—h," Shangela later jokes in a confessional, referencing the fictional African nation that appears in the 1988 Eddie Murphy comedy Coming to America. "Go to Wikipedia.com, mama. You are the definition of bougie."
And BeBe doesn't disagree.
"I have a side that is always very regal," she replies. "But, I'm very goofy!"
"Please don't take it the wrong way," Shangela quips back, once again imitating BeBe's physical tics. "I'm just saying you do have an air. [Like] Oh, she can't be bothered, okay!"
